Palmer's Comment

"In 2012 I will be racing the WERA National Challenge Series in the Formula 3 and Formula 2 expert classes, with some southeastern regional races mixed in. I will also be racing the USGPRU National Championship series in the Moto 3 and MD250H classes. This will be my first year in USGPRU so I am excited to race a new series and ready for the new challenges that I will face. It will be great to get to race against lots of new competition and learn a bunch of new tracks.
I will also continue to work with Safe Kids East Central this year to teach young kids about the importance of helmet safety. For the last couple of years we have gone into numerous elementary schools and taught hundreds of kids about wearing their bicycle and skateboard helmets. I try to teach them that it's cool to wear a helmet, and it might just save their life. "

"2011 was awesome! I started racing a Moriwaki MD250H in WERA, and won the 125 GP National Championship and a bunch of regional championships. I also got a chance to race the AMA Roadracing Grand National Championships where I won the Lightweight GP Novice National Championship! It was a great year!"

"2008 was a learning year for me. I moved up to the Formula 1 and Formula 2 expert classes in SEMRA, and worked hard to learn from the faster racers. I also went to Wisconsin to race in the Mini Roadracing National Championships where I won all three of the Kids Novice classes."

Palmer's Comment

"2007 was my first year road racing. In January my dad took me to try it out on a go cart track and I was hooked. I love motocross, but roadracing quickly became my passion! The first time I rode on pavement I knew that this was for me. We started racing with the Southeastern Mini Roadracing Association (SEMRA) where I quickly started learning new skills and winning races. It was really cool to be able to road race at only 7 years old, and to have other kids to race against. By the end of the season I had learned so quickly that I was bumped up to the expert classes to race the remaining races with the adults. That was awesome, and it really helped me learn a lot by riding with faster more experienced racers."

Palmer's Comment

"2006 was a short year for me. I was still racing motocross and doing well, but in the middle of the year my family moved to Georgia. I didn't get to ride for a while because all of our bikes and gear were in storage. I used to bug my dad about going riding, but we couldn't get our bikes until we moved into the new house so I just had to wait. At the end of the year we finally got our bike back out and started to go find new places to ride. It was cool to go to some new tracks and finally be able to ride again!"

Palmer's Comment

"In 2005 I continued to get faster and race more and more motocross. We started travelling around the state racing the Alabama State Championship Series and a couple of other motocross series. I had a lot of fun and started winning some of my races. We still rode at our house almost every day, and I kept working hard and having fun."

Palmer's Comment

"In 2004 I started my racing career at just 4 years old. I started out racing motocross on a Yamaha PW-50, but quickly graduated to a KTM Pro Jr. My Dad would ride with me every day and teach me about balance and throttle control. We had lots of fun racing each other around the tracks at our house. The whole family rode together and we always had racing friends over to ride with us. I fell in love with riding, and I couldn't wait for my Dad to get home everyday so we could ride again. When I look back now, I realize how much I learned about riding from all of the fun games my dad and I would play in the yard and on the track. I didn't even realize he was teaching me important skills, I was just having fun. I was It was a great time!"
